Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, who has been in a relationship for around five years now, are all set to take the plunge now. As per the recent reports, the much talked about couple will be tying the knot by the end of this year.
Although both Ranveer and Deepika haven't made an official announcement about the same, a report in Mumbai Mirror states that their families have shortlisted four dates between September and December 2018 for the couple's big day. In fact, Deepika has also begun her bridal shopping as well.
"It will be an extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if they want a reception to follow," a source reportedly told Mumbai Mirror.
The source also added that Ranveer and Deepika are yet to zero in the wedding location and designer for their D-Day.
Interestingly, it's been a while when Ranveer Singh admitted the marriage is on his mind.
"I don't know from where this is coming. These are things I think about. I try to create a life and work balance. As much as I am consumed by my work at the moment, these things (marriage) are on my mind. But nothing decisive as of now," Ranveer was quoted saying to India Today.
Although an official announcement about the same is still awaited, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's wedding is indeed going to be the biggest event of the year.
On the work front, the couple was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat early this year. Currently, Ranveer Singh is busy with two of his upcoming movies - Rohit Shetty's Simmba and Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy.
