Ranveer Singh is currently riding high on the success of his latest release, Simmba. The film grossed Rs 200 crore in just 12 days and has already broken several records. Simmba is directed by Rohit Shetty and also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. On the personal front too, the actor is in a happy state of mind and has been praising his wife Deepika Padukone in all his interviews.
In a recent interview with Famously Filmfare, Ranveer can be seen calling her ‘gharelu’ and how he just loves it. “She is so gharelu...I love it...I love it.” He can also be seen singing praise of himself by saying, ''I am telling you I am going to be the husband of the millennium. I am going to glide and breeze through it,'' he said.
The small clip also shows him talking about flirting as he says, ''Having a polite conversation with a person for a moment is not flirting.'' The actor is really glad after working with Rohit Shetty in Simmba. Simmba has received a positive response from the critics and is Ranveer’s highest opening film as well.
Talking about the movie, he said, ''Everything I was born to do, I have done in Rohit Shetty’s film from running at high speed, dialogues, fights to a larger-than-life projection from a low angle on a huge canvas.''
The actor is now gearing up for the release of his next film, Gully Boy which also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role. He plays a rapper in the film based on the life of rapper Divine. Ranveer will be also seen playing the titular role in Kapil Dev's biopic 83. As per the reports doing the rounds in media, Deepika Padukone can be roped in to play the former cricketer's wife Romi Bhatia.Deepika will also soon start starting for Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, a biopic on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
