Ranveer Singh’s latest mega-hit Simmba is on a record-breaking spree. The film has shattered several box office records and has now entered the ranks of the top 10 Bollywood domestic box office hits of all time. Ranveer’s hit machine doesn’t end here. He is all set to play the role of Indian rapper Divine in his upcoming film Gully Boy.

While Ranveer's professional life is taking a sweet turn, his personal life is also adding up to the flavour. The Padmaavat actor got married to his lady love, Deepika Padukone in a grand wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy.

Post their marriage, one question which was repetitively asked to the couple was, will Deepika change her surname after marriage or not? In a recent interview, Deepika was quizzed about her views on changing her surname after her marriage. To which she replied, “I’ve worked extremely hard to create my own identity and so has he. So, my question is, ‘why would he have to do that?”

While Deepika knows how to shut down the buzz around her surname, Ranveer Singh has no qualms adding surname ‘Padukone’ to his name. The actor joked about it on Famously Filmfare saying, “Since I have dropped my surname, I need a new one, so why not! It’s a legendary surname.”

Ranveer Singh never fails to impress us with his antics. This, once again, is an attempt to rule our hearts forever. Well done, Ranveer!

On the professional front, Deepika will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s film Chhapaak while Ranveer will be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Gully Boy. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy is set to release on February 14.
