Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba is looking unstoppable since its release and is churning out big for its producers. The action drama flick has crossed Rs 200 crore mark in just 12 days of its release and became the third film of 2018 to do so. Simmba has collected Rs 202.83 crore in 12 days after adding Rs 6.03 crore collection on Tuesday. The movie crossed Rs 50 crore mark in its first weekend and Rs 100 crore in just five days of its release. Helmed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba is a remake of 2015 Telugu film Temper which was also a commercial hit.
Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the box office collection of Simmba and wrote, ‘’And #Simmba roars louder with a DOUBLE CENTURY... Hits ₹ 200 cr mark... Shows solid hold on weekdays, which indicates it won’t slow down soon...

Simmba became Ranveer Singh’s second film of 2018 which managed to cross Rs 200 crore mark after Padmaavat which featured Deepika Padukone in female lead. 2018 has proven to be a ladder in Ranveer Singh’s career. Two biggest grossing movies of the year Padmaavat and Simmba have not only earned critical accolade for the actor but also won him more fans with his stellar performance in both films.

Rohit Shetty is the only director in B-town to have eight consecutive flick to cross Rs 100 crore mark and is even titled ‘The Hit Machine’.
