Veteran actress Sridevi left for her heavenly abode on Saturday creating a void in the hearts of the fans. The Bollywood diva charmed the audience with her impeccable performances in several films be it Nagina, Sadma or Chaalbaaz.

The beautiful actress had a star-studded career in not only Bollywood but in Tamil, Telugu and Malayam cinema as well. Her untimely demise has sent the fans into shock who still can’t believe Bollywood’s Chandni is no more.

The Mr India actress was an institution in herself and inspiration for many girls who wanted to join the industry. Popular actress Vidya Balan took to Twitter to express her grief and say that her inspiration is no more.

1-People know that Sridevi was the first ever female superstar in Bollywood but not many know that she was also the first actress to earn Rs 1 crore in the 1990s.

2- Another Bollywood veteran Rekha used to dub for Sridevi during the initial period of her career when she was not so fluent with Hindi.

3- Sridevi returned to the silver screens in 2017 with the thriller Mom. The Ravi Udyawar directorial marked the 300th film of her illustrious career.

4- Sridevi was quite fond of white colour and one could see that many of costumes use in the films had the very same colour.

5- Sridevi was one of the first few actresses to have a vanity van of her own.

6- Many people know that Sridevi started her career as child artist at the age of 4 but very few are aware of the fact that she has worked with former tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. The two have worked together in films like Ádi Parashakti, Bharya Biddalu and Thirumangalyam in 1974.

7- Sridevi was the original choice of the makers for the role of Sivagami in the blockbuster Baahubali.
