The iconic RK Studio, established by the legendary late actor Raj Kapoor, is up for sale. The Kapoor family had taken a unanimous decision to sell off studio, 70 years after it was established, as it was not “economically viable” to rebuild it after being gutted down in a fire on September 16, 2017, according to sources.

RK Studio, established in 1948 in suburban Chembur, witnessed several films made by the Kapoor family over the decades.
