The first look of the much-anticipated movie Saand Ki Aankh that chronicles the achievements the world's most aged women shooters, is out!
Early in the morning, the poster and the first look of the actresses as the world's oldest women sharpshooters were unveiled along with the release date of the movie.
Dressed almost similar to the real-life shooters in a collared top and ghagra with a chunder and armed with rifles, sporting wrinkled skin and grey hair, Taapsee and Bhumi have grown into the skin of their characters of the sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar who belonged to Uttar Pradesh's Johri village in Bagpat district, on whom the biographical drama is based.
Both Taapsee and Bhumi lokks enthralling as fiesty carefree shooters.
The slogans on the poster read, "Tann budha hota hai, mann budha nai hota" and "They broke out of their cage...At 60, they rose above their age...with 700 medals they became a rage..." The shoot for the movie is underway and will be hitting the theatres on Diwali.Â
The release date of the movie has also been announced and the Anurag Kashyap production will be hitting the theatres on Diwali.Â

Sharing the poster on her Twitter account, Bhumi said that the shooter dadis are brave, fun and full of love. She added that she is proud to be a part of the journey. Meanwhile, Taapsee said that Not crackers, but guns will dominate this Diwali.Â
Looks like it's going to be clashing with Farhad Samji's Housefull 4 starring Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Rana Daggubati among other actors at the box office.
Saand Ki Aankh was initially supposed to be titled Womaniya but after Pritish Nandy claimed rights for the title, Anurag Kashyap and his team decided to rename it that literally translates to 'bull's eye' in English.Â
Besides, Taapsee and Bhumi, the movie would also see director Prakash Jha playing a pivotal role in the biopic. Saand Ki Aankh will be directed debutante Tushar Hiranandani, who has previously written movies like ABCD 2, Half Girlfriend, Great Grand Masti.Â
