Renowned cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's recently release biopic 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is doing wonders at the box office and the movie is winning a lot appreciation from critics. The movie has earned Rs 32.25 cr at the box office in just four days of release, which is indeed a successful amount for a docu-drama
While the master blaster cricketer is busy promoting the movie on social media, it is being reported that Tendulkar charged a whopping amount of over Rs 35 crore for the biopic. "It's somewhere close to Rs 40 crore. Maybe, not exactly 40 but he's definitely got 35-38 crore for the film," a source reportedly told a web portal.
Well, it seems to be quite a deserving amount for Sachin Tendulkar given that the movie gives the audience the entire insight of the cricketer's life both professional and personal. In fact, 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' has the 'God of Cricket' playing himself on the big screen. Helmed by James Erskine, 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' was released on May 26.
