Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge married Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan in an intimate affair on Thursday. The couple, who has been dating each other for a while now, tied the knot through a court marriage which reportedly took place at Zaheer's Lower Parel residence in Mumbai.
The Chak De India girl look resplendent in a Sabyasachi red silk saree paired with an embroidered blouse on her D-Day. She completed her look with a choker necklace, earrings and bangles. On the other hand, groom Zaheer opted for a desi look with a printed soft pink kurta and complemented well with his bride.
While the wedding was a private ceremony, it was attended by couple's close friends. In fact, Sagarika's co-star from Chak De India, even shared pictures of the newly-wed couple on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Newly-weds Sagarika and Zaheer will be hosting a grand wedding reception on November 27 in Mumbai's Taj Palace hotel which is expected to be attended by several big shots from entertainment and sports industry.
Notably, the couple have been quite reserved about their relationship and had announced their engagement in May this year.
