Saif Ali Khan is all set to star in dark comedy about six characters from different sections of life who cross paths on a rainy Mumbai night.
The movie marks the directorial debut of "Delhi Belly" writer Akshat Verma and besides Saif has an eclectic ensemble of Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam.
Produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Ashi Dua Sara of Flying Unicorn, the movie is set to release on September 8.
"Kaalakaandi is a film Im so happy to be a part of! Its a cross section of Mumbai with underworld goons, doomed bankers and idealistic lovers all mixed together in this karmic tale about love, crime and living a lifetime in one night.
