Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt's Inshallah won't be opening at theaters on Eid 2020 and Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani's Laxmmi Bomb has taken its place for the big festive release. But that doesn't means next year Eid will have an exception with no Bhai film at theaters. The actor has made it clear through his recent tweet.
Salman Khan, who tweeted ominously the previous night that Inshallah would be delayed but he would still "see everyone on Eid", is holding fast to that resolution. Salman just tweeted, "Itna mat sochna mere baare mein, Dil mein aata hoon.. aur Eid pe bhi." This is a reference to a dialogue from his film Kick, where he says, "Dil mein aata hoon, samajh mein nahin."

Kick 2 directed by Sajid Nadiadwala was all set to go on floors in 2020 after it was announced in 2018. Kick released on Eid 2014 and also featured eatured Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The film will mark the return of Salman as Devil (Devi Lal Singh), a thief with a purpose and according to the director will be extremely unpredictable. Once the script is finalised, the team will go on a recce for location sites and apart from Salman, other members of the cast will be decided shortly.
Salman's films released during Eid have always shattered box office records and set a benchmark. Ever since Wanted released on Eid in 2009, Salman Khan has been consistent in delivering Rs 100-crore successes come this joyous occasion and the legacy continued with Bodyguard, Dabangg, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Tubelight that followed. Thus Salman Khan and Eid have become synonymous.
Meanwhile, Bhansali Productions announced that Inshallah would "not be happening for now".
