Arbaaz Khan has finally opened up on the much awaited Dabangg 3 and said that the movie is likely to hit the floors next year. The movie which will be the third instalment of the 'Dabangg' franchise will have Salman Khan reprising the role of Chulbul Pandey.
Talking about the same, Arbaaz said, "Yes, we have started scripting the film and I think we will start shooting 'Dabangg 3' by the middle of the next year."
On the other hand, Salman has revealed that he will shoot for Dabangg 3 and Bharat simultaneously.
"The script of Dabangg 3 is ready. It's going to start during Bharat, which is Atul and Alvira's (Agnihotri) film that Ali (Abbas Zafar) is directing. That starts after Remo's film. Atul's film requires some gaps. So between the schedules for Atul's film, I will shoot for Dabangg 3," Salman was quoted saying to DNA.
The Sultan actor also revealed that Dabangg 3 will also provide an insight of Chulbul Pandey's previous life.
"So it's Chulbul Pandey now and then - what has gone on in his life before part one and two. The flashback will show how Chulbul Pandey actually became Chulbul Pandey. The remaining part will be about what he's up to now," he added.
Notably, while Dabangg and Dabangg 2 were helmed by Arbaaz Khan, the same will not be the case with the third installment and Salman has a reason for it too.
Confirming the news, Salman said, "He gets very hyper so we asked him to chill and take rest. He will produce the film this time."
Currently, Salman Khan is currently busy with his upcoming movie Tiger Zinda Hai opposite Katrina Kaif. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie happens to be a sequel to Salman-Katrina's 2012 release Ek Tha Tiger and is slated to release on December 22.
