Salman's take on 'Sanju': Sanjay Dutt should have been a part of the film

Crictis may have different takes on the trailer of Sanju, but Salman Khan has something significant to say about it.

Salman, after seeing the trailer of Sanju, a biopic on Sanjay Dutt, felt that his Bollywood buddy should have been cast in the last part of his story in the film.

The film Sanju chronicles Sanjay's life from his young years to his life after jail. Ranbir Kapoor did get into the skin of the character with ease and plays Sanjay's role in the film perfectly, but Salman is of the opinion that Sanjay himself should have been a part of the biopic, particularly towards the last parts of the movie.

"For 'Sanju', I was thinking why is somebody else playing this bit? The last 8-10 years. you cannot do justice to that. Sanju should have played the last bit," Salman said in a group interview in Mumbai.

"I have seen the trailer. Raju Hirani is a very sensible filmmaker so he has made a film," the actor added.

When asked if he is fine with a biopic on his life, the reply was a straight "No."  Asked about an autobiography, Salman said, "No. I anyway say things openly... But I don't want to do it."

The 52-year-old Bollywood superstar is set for his next - his Eid release Race 3 on June 15.
