Actor Salman Khan, who was shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, suffered an injury on the sets while filming a sequence. Though the reason of the injury is still unknown, the Tiger Zinda Hai actor decided to leave the shoot midway.Â
The actor was in Punjab when he received an injury after which he decided to fly back to Mumbai for the treatment.
The shooting of Bharat started almost three months ago. As per reports, Bharat is said to be in its last stage of shooting.Â
Standing by his tough guy image, after recuperating from the injuries, Salman flew back to Punjab to resume the shoot on Saturday.Â
Recently, the film's producer and Salman's brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri, took to his Instagram handle and shared a video in which the 52-year-old actor is seen being welcomed back by his fans as he heads out for a shopping trip Ludhiana city.

Last week, Salman shared the first look from his upcoming flick that had Salman and Katrina on a set created to look alike Wagah Border. The stars headed to Ludhiana to shoot for the next and the final schedule of the film. The team also shot few sequences in Chandigarh where the Wagah border set was created.

Bharat is based on the 2014 South Korean drama Ode to My Father. The film also features Nora Fatehi, Tabu and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles with Varun Dhawan in a cameo. It is slated for release next year.
