Last month, Salman Khan, irrefutably one of the most eligible actors in B-town made headlines after reports of him planning to embrace fatherhood via surrogacy caught the attention of bhai fans. A source close to the Bharat actor had then informed the Times of India that Salman is planning to opt for surrogacy following the likes of Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, SRK and the likes.

The reports about the surrogacy plan might have might even taken a closer step if we are to go by reports. The 53-year-old actor, who in all likelihood have had experiences with children given how close he is with his nephew Ahil in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror said, "I want children, but with children comes the mother. I don't want the mother, but they need one. But I have a whole village to take care of them. Maybe I can work out a win-win situation for everyone."

While the actor is very keen about plans on having little ones near him, marriage cards don’t seem to be on the table if we are to go by his own words.

Salman Khan meanwhile will be seen next in the official remake of a Korean film, An Ode To My Father, Bharat, that traces India’s post-independence history from the perspective of a common man where we also be shown Salman in many phases of his life, stretching from 18 to 70 years of age.

The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial also stars Ek Tha Tiger co-sar, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu etc. Bharat hits the screens this June 5.
