Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali may collaborate once again after a long gap of 11 years. If media reports are to be believed the Tubelight star has signed a film with Bhansali which may be tilted ‘Inshallah’.
A source close to Bhansali told Filmfare "Sanjay has delivered some of his biggest career hits with Salman as his main lead. It’s been 11 years since the two last worked together, which is why he wants to team up with Salman yet again. The project is reportedly very special for Sanjay and he feels no one better than Salman would fit the lead role’’.
Salman Khan, who is currently enjoying the success of his latest release and Remo D’Souza starrer Race 3 has earlier worked with Bhansali in Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
His last work with him was in 2007 release and Ranbir Kapoor debut Saawariya. He played a cameo in the flick. However, the film failed to impress the audience and failed miserably at the box-office.
His relationship with Bhansali got tensed during the release of Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai starrer Guzaarish. The things took the right path when Salman came out in support for the filmmaker during Bajirao Mastani controversy.
A source told Hindustan Times, "Inshallah might be the title of the film that will reunite Sanjay and Salman. He got the title registered last week with IMPAA. And looking at Bhansali’s working style, he might take six to nine months to complete the final draft of the script, and he may start shooting by next year, after Salman is done with his other prior commitments including his next film, Bharat’’.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s last release and one of the most controversial film of the year Padmaavat churned out more than Rs 300 crore at the box-office.
