Salman Khan’s fans have been waiting with bated breath for him to announce his Eid 2020 release. Salman had Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah as Eid release but the film has been shelved for now. He had tweeted, "The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!" Salman also wrote, "Itna mat sochna mere baare mein, Dil mein aata hoon.. aur Eid pe bhi.''
Now if latest reports are to be believed, Salman's Eid 2020 release is set to be Prabhu Dheva's forthcoming directorial which will be a remake of the 2017 Korean action-thriller, The Outlaws. There were reports that the film will be titled Radhe. However, when Mumbai Mirror quizzed Salman about the project, he stated, "We (Prabhudheva and I) are doing a film together again. But it is not called Radhe. It will come on Eid."
As per reports in Bollywood Hungama, the makers want Priyanka Chopra Jonas for the film, but Salman was adamant on Katrina. A source told the entertainment portal, "Bhai plays a cop again in the Eid 2020 release. This would be two back-to-back releases Dabangg 3 followed by the Eid release, where Salman plays a cop. To avoid a sense of sameness his team members suggested Priyanka Chopra since she has no films on hand after The Sky Is Pink releases in October."
The source added, "At such short notice the choice was between Jacqueline Fernandez and Katrina Kaif. With Jacqueline, Salman is already doing Kick 2. He might as well give Katrina the Eid gift.''
Meanwhile, Salman and Prabhudeva are already working on Dabangg 3. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Kichcha Sudeep, and others. The film will also mark the debut of Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee. She will play the love interest of Salman Khan in the flashback scenes.
