Salman Khan has shared a video on Instagram praising his bestie Shah Rukh Khan, who recently rescued Aishwarya Rai’s manager from fire at Bachchan’s Diwali bash. He posted a clip from the song 'Manwa Lage' (Happy New Year) where Shah Rukh's shirt catches fire. The video has a voice over of Salman where he says, "hero woh hota hai jo aag me kudke, bujha ke, bachata hain". (Hero is one who jumps into fire, douses it and saves lives).
Salman also tagged Shah Rukh Khan in his appreciation post. Check out the video below:
Salman’s fans also praised the actor for his heroism. ''What a perfect scene u have taken #srk Hero in real life,'' wrote one. ''Once a hero always a hero,'' wrote another.
On October 27, a party was hosted at the Bachchan’s residence. In that party, Archana’s dress caught fire and SRK jumped in to save her, reports Mid-Day.
"Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn't know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire," a source told Mid-Day.
It is being reported that Archana was admitted to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai and is being kept in isolation in the ICU to prevent infection. She has suffered 15% burns on her right leg and hands. Even Shah Rukh sustained some minor burns.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh and Salman have previously worked together in Karan Arjun and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. They also made cameos in each others’ recent films Tubelight and Zero.
