Sara Ali Khan to be casted alongside dad, Saif Ali Khan in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2?

While the talk of Sara Ali Khan and crush Kartik Aaryan is the gossips that seem to permeate the B-town, there is another bigger surprise for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Ajj Kal 2 castings. Familial castings are no subject in Bollywood’s Tinsel Town, from Sonam Kapoor-Anil Kapoor to Salman Khan-Arbaaz Khan, the list goes on and on. With that being said, is Ali perambulating on casting the father-daughter, Sara-Saif for his hit, romantic drama?

According to a source of DNA, “Saif Ali Khan has been roped in to play an important role in the romcom, which will be a sequel to his own hit film with Imtiaz — Love Aaj Kal. This will be the first time that Saif will be sharing screen space with his daughter Sara. It’s not just a cameo but a full-fledged role. He will play the role of Sara’s father on screen as well.”

Keeping the heat of the father-daughter castings, filmmaker Ali was said to have taken a big interest in dad, Saif, “It was the obvious call he made, given that it is Love Aaj Kal 2 and the core idea of the plot remains the same. Like Rishi Kapoor in the original, Saif, too, will have a prominent part in Sara and Kartik’s relationship here.”

Although no definite statement has been released about the Love Aaj Kal castings, rumours have it that Ali might possibly cast Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan as his next Jodi.
