Satish Kaushik reveals heartbreaking details about his conversation with Boney Kapoor after Sridevi's death

Veteran actress Sridevi was consigned to flames on Wednesday with state honors. The veteran actress breathed her last in Dubai on Sunday and her funeral was attended by several B-town celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rohit Shetty, Madhuri Dixit etc.

While it was a hard moment for the entire Kapoor family, Sridevi's co-stars too bid farewell to her with a heavy heart.

During his recent conversation with IANS, Sridevi's co-star from Mr India, Satish Kaushik revealed some heartwarming details of his phone with Boney Kapoor, who was 'inconsolable, after the diva's death.

"When I heard of ma'am's (Sridevi) death, I couldn't believe it. Boney and I have been friends for 30 years. I called him up. He wept inconsolably. The more we spoke, the more he wept. He just couldn't stop crying. I hung up," Satish Kaushik was quoted as saying.

Talking about Sridevi, Satish added, "I don't know of anyone who could transform so much once she had make-up on. And I don't mean just for the camera. She could dress up for a wedding and she'd look like a different person... And now to see her lying there still and unmoving in that casket... it was heartbreaking."
