Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray tied the knot with his childhood friend and fashion designer Mitali Borude in Mumbai on January 27. The wedding was followed by a lavish reception in the evening. Amit and Mitali looked stunning together at their wedding reception. While Amit Thackeray chose a tuxedo, Mitali Borude wore a red and pink lehenga.The guest list for the reception included several high profile attendees from Bollywood and political spectrum.Â
Bollywood’s A-lister Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Urmila Matondkar and Rohit Shetty among others were present at the reception. Mukesh and Nita Ambani also marked their attendance at the event.
Attendees from the political arena included former union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, his daughter Praniti Shinde, former deputy chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal, former Advocate-General Srihari Amey, Sonali Kulkarni, BJP city chief Ashish Shelar, Kiran V Shantaram, and many others.Sachin Tendulkar, his wife Anjali, singer Asha Bhosle, actor Ritesh Deshmukh, and brother Amit Deshmukh and industrialist Ratan Tata also attended the wedding ceremony.Â

Amit Thackeray and Mitali Borude on 11 December, 2017 at Raj Thackeray’s Mumbai home. Mitali Borude is the daughter of a renowned pediatrician Dr. Sanjay Borude. The couple was friends before they reportedly dated for a few years, according to news agency ANI.
