After Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was sentenced to a total of 20 years in jail following his conviction in 2002 rape case, there was a flurry of reactions, right from the common people to the celebrities.
But conspicuous by his silence on the issue was none other than the Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, who is making a comeback on Indian Television with the upcoming show TED Talks: Nayi Soch.
Before you guys jump to any conclusion let’s tell you that SRK indeed expressed his opinion, that too on camera, but due to certain obligations, the footage will not be shared on any fora.
Actually, King Khan was busy shooting for TED Talks: Nayi Soch and if reports are anything to go by, just as he was about to finish the first schedule of the show, the news of Ram Rahim Singh's sentencing was broke.
A MidDay report suggests that Shah Rukh reacted by saying, "The director will perhaps not like it as it's not part of the show, but I am happy to say Ram Rahim Singh has been sentenced," but it will not be aired.
The first guest on SRK's show TED Talks will be Karan Johar who has already shot for his episode. Shah Rukh has also roped in Google CEO Sundar Pichai as one of the guests on the show.
