Titled as Saare Jahaan Se Achchan, the Shah Rukh-starrer will go on floors in March. The biopic is being directed by Mahesh Mathai, and if reports are to be true, then the sets are already being built in Mumbai’s Film City. According to a report on PeepingMoon.com, SRK has green-signalled Don 3, which was in the pipeline for a long time now.

In a report published in ZoomTV, a source has been quoted as saying, “Farhan (Akhtar) and his team were working on the script of Don 3 for the last one and a half years. They have finally locked the script and believe me, it’s going to be the best of the franchise. Don 3 will have a completely different storyline, unlike Don 2 which was the continuation of the first part.”

“SRK told Farhan to shoot Don 3 only after he is done with Saare Jahaan Se Achcha on which Farhan happily agreed as he himself has some acting commitments which need to be completed before he dives into his next directorial,” the source said further.

And on Saturday, it merely earned Rs 18.22 crore. The film witnessed a further dip on Sunday but gradually managed to cross the 50 crore mark.

The Aanand L Rai directorial is jointly produced by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions.
