Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to abolish Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency in war against black money.
Celebrities like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, KaranJohar and Anurag Kashyap have also backed the move.
Shah Rukh, 51, also took to Twitter to hail the step takenby the PM, calling it, "a great move". "Farsighted. Extremely smart. And not politicallymotivated.
Will bring such a positive change for Indianeconomy. Great move @narendramodi," he wrote.
In his first televised address to the nation on November8, two-and-a-half-years after assuming office, the PM declareda "decisive" war against black money and corruption withabolishing high denomination currency being a part of it.
