Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, without any mention, are two of Bollywood biggest stars with more than 20 years in the spotlight yet it is not often we see the Badshah and the Khiladi share screen onscreen. Their absence on the main-screen together makes fans wonder what the reason is. The answer of Shah Rukh Khan not being able to do films with Akshay Kumar, though he wants to is one you never saw coming.
Sitting down for an interview, when SRK was asked about the same, Shah Rukh Khan gave an answer which is on-so-relatable for people who hates to wake up early, he said, “What do I say to this? I don’t wake up as early as him. I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I’m a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me.”

He’ll be leaving the set and I’ll be coming in. I would like to work like Akshay but our timings won’t match.”
