Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Zero' is last hope for Khan-hit tradition after disastrous release of 'Race 3', 'TOH'

Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zero is all set for the big release tomorrow. Zero is one of the most anticipated movies of this year, and with just a day for the release, the movie is dapped in infinitesimal pressure of hitting big at the box-office. While the makers are wondering about the audience response, the Twitterati is going gaga over the film. #ZeroTomorrow is trending at the top position on Twitter followed by #HeerBadnaam, which again belongs to the Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif-starrer.

2018 was not really a happy-go-lucky year for the Khans. On one hand, where Salman Khan’s Race 3 failed at the box-office, Aamir Khan-starrer Thugs Of Hindostan could not register with the audiences. Even Saif Ali Khan’s Bazaar became yet another disaster. Now, with Zero releasing next, all eyes eagerly wait to see the charm of King Khan.

Remo D’Souza directorial Race 3, despite being one among the anticipated films of the year and entering the 100-crore club, was unanimously slammed by audience and critics. The film became the target of the never-ending trolls, which mocked the wafer-thin script.

Talking about the Aamir and Amitabh-starrer, Thugs Of Hindostan widely disappointed the audiences. The big Diwali release of the year, which opened with a record-breaking Rs 50 crore on Day one, was trashed by the critics and fans. The movie star Aamir later took the complete responsibility for the failure of TOH.

As Shah Rukh, Katrina, and Anushka buckle up for the Zero release, we can only wish that at least one Khan keeps up with the ‘Khan’ hit-tradition.

In a unique promotional activity of the film, the characters were introduced each with a poster, apart from the teasers, trailer and songs. Now, the film is all set to unveil the various facades of Shah Rukh Khan who plays the mischevious and vertically challenged Bauua and Anushka Sharma as the wheelchair-bound Aafia. Katrina Kaif also makes a stunning appearance as the glamorous superstar Babita Kumari. Challenging the actors to play characters like never before, Aanand L Rai presents a strong cast.

The film revolves around the life of Bauua, a man from Meerut and how the two women he meets in his life’s journey help him to find true love and his life’s purpose.

Apart from the intriguing characters, Zero attempts to celebrate life and sends out a message to embrace one's incompleteness, making it a must watch for families this Christmas. The Anand L Rai directorial is jointly produced by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions.
