Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s social media handles, Instagram and Twitter, were reportedly hacked by a Turkish hacker group on Thursday. A series of photographs flooded on the actor’s Instagram account in Turkish language and in one of the posts, it critised the portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in the film ‘Padmaavat’, which was released in January 2018.
The cyber group named Ayyildiz Tim also posted a picture of Katrina Kaif with a caption that said, “I love you Katrina Kaif”.
The ‘Padmaavat’ actor attracted much appreciation and acclaims for his role of Raja Ratan Singh while the character of Khilji was portrayed by ‘Ram Leela’ actor Ranveer Singh.
The actor’s Twitter handle was also hacked by the same group and one of the tweets contained a video of the title song of Raj Kapoor’s film “Awara”.
The actor’s account on both the microblogging sites was restored in an hour, and all the tweets and pictures were deleted immediately after that.
