It seems like the Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar controversy is not going to fade any soon as reactions from some or the other celebrity keeps surfacing every new day. Now, veteran actor Shakti Kapoor has reacted and mocked the 10-year-old allegation of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar by Tanushree.

On being asked about the controversy, he replied, “I don't know anything about this case. This was 10 years ago. I was a kid back then’’.

Earlier, Shakti Kapoor also faced such accusations back in the year 2005 where he could be seen asking for sexual favours from an aspiring actress, which is commonly known as ‘casting couch’. The actor claimed that the videostape was doctored.

Last week, Tanushree alleged that the incident of sexual harassment took place in 2008, after which she was out of Bollywood and settled in the United States. She confessed that she gained the confidence to speak up after the row of #MeToo movement caught up across the globe.

Several Bollywood and TV celebrities have come up in support of the Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress. She was even criticised and trolled over this. But she responded, “Nobody in Bollywood speaks openly against these incidents. I live in the US and I have a green card. I have come on leave to India and will go back soon. However, people in Bollywood need to speak up’’.

Meanwhile, Cine & TV Artists Association (CINTAA) is investigating the matter again as the incident is older than three years.
