B-town’s leading lady, Priyanka Chopra, celebrated her first Karwa Chauth after marriage to Nick Jonas at a lavish Jodhpur wedding last year and the actress after details of her celebration in California from getting mehendi done on her palms and wearing the red choodha, the actress responding to her fans requests have shared a picture of the occasion with Nick.
The Sky is Pink actress is seen donning the traditional avatar in red saree, choodha and vermillion. The post also reveals that her celebrations took place at one of Nick’s concert in California.
Nick too showered his love on the pic and in turn shared a few pic goofy pics of them dressed in a cream kurta. “My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!” write Nick Jonas while sharing the pics.
Earlier, the actress decked in vermilion shared a selfie with her friends that included actress and VJ Anusha Dandekar. In another Instagram story she shared a picture of her getting ready with mehendi in hand.
Meanwhile, the festival of love and togetherness was celebrated with much zeal and enthusiasm among B-town's leading ladies including Anushka Sharma, Mira Rajput, Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu, Raveena Tandon and others. They observed fast for the longevity of their partners. In fact, a special Karwa Chauth get-together was hosted at Anil Kapoor's residence by his wife Sunita Kapoor. The get-together was attended by Shilpa, Raveena, Mira, Padmini Kolhapure among others.
