Kangana Ranaut has recently made a sensational claim that she was asked to pose in a rope without undergarments for a soft-porn movie by Pahlaj Nihalani. Now, the former Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief has responded to the Manikarnika actress's allegation.
In an interaction with Cineblitz, Nihalani was quoted as saying, "I had spent one-and-a-half crore on that picture advertisement and shot for three songs. She did the reading post the photoshoot, but with my advertisement and the poster, she got Mahesh Bhatt’s film Gangster and backed out of my film as she requested me to let her do Gangster as we were under a three-movie deal. She should not play with me, otherwise, I have a lot of things to play with her."
Talking about the movie in question, the film producer reportedly further went on to tell the entertainment portal, “It was a youth film; she was married in that movie. I had approached Amitabh Bachchan for that role. It was on the lines of Cheeni Kum. I gave the narration to Amitji too; he pulled out due to him already doing something similar. It was never a porn film and neither am I interested in those kinds of movies.”
Kangana had told Mid-Day that the filmmaker had offered a movie called I Love You Boss for a photoshoot of which, she was asked to wear a robe and "no undergarments." She went on to call the character as "soft porn sort of" and revealed that even though she actually did go through the shoot but disappeared shortly thereafter and also changed her contact number.
In a recent interaction with Mid-day, Kangana had recalled an incident wherein filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani, the former chairman of Central Board of Film Certification had offered her a film that was a kind of 'soft-porn'. She further said for the initial photoshoot of which, she had to pose in just a robe.
Besides Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga and Prakash Kovelamudi's Mental Hai Kya, Kangana is also set to star politician Jayalalithaa's biopic titled Thalaivi in Tamil Nadu and Jaya in rest of India.
