Shekhar Suman, who has been in the limelight for his upcoming movie 'Bhoomi' starring Sanjay Dutt in the lead, faced backlash after he made a sly-tweet about a 'cocained-actress'.
The veteran actor took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share his views on of the B-town actress and took a dig at her recent failure at the box office by calling it a 'poetic justice'.
He wrote, "One cocained actress was carrying the burden of her non-existent stardom. She has fallen flat on her face n how.Guess this is poetic justice."

While Shekhar made sure not to name any actress, it was quite evident that he was targeting at Kangana Ranaut whose last release 'Rangoon' didn't fare well at the box office.
Suman's tweet didn't go down well with the Twitteratis who went on to lash out at the veteran actor and even questioned his son Adhyayen Suman's stardom.
@shekharsuman7 Hi sir where do you and your super star son @AdhyayanSsuman keep your National awards ??

Soon, the doting son Adhyayen, who had retweeted his father's cryptic tweet, came out in defence of daddy Shekhar and slammed the haters over their criticism.
He even wrote in one of his tweets saying "national award se films nahin chalte (Films don't work with National Awards).Â
@ashishagarwal_ @shekharsuman7 beta national award se films nahin chalte ...

Later, Shekhar too responded to the trolls and wrote, "Im horrified at the paid lackeys and sycophants who have jumped in defence of a lumpen so- called star.shame on you, you paid twitteratis."

Interestingly, this war of words has once again highlighted Kangana Ranaut's bitter relationship with Adhyayen Suman.
The couple had been dating each other in 2008. However, the two parted ways a year later.
Later, the 'Raaz 2' actor went on to give an explosive interview in 2016 about Ranaut and even accused her of practising black magic.
Adhyayen also stated that while the 'Queen' actress abused her, she, he also reportedly claimed about consuming hash on Kangana's insistence.
Well, we wonder what Kangana Ranaut has to say about this fresh set of controversy.Â
