Actress Shilpa Shetty was trolled on twitter after she gave an interview to a newspaper where she misinterpreted George Orwell's 'Animal Farm'. As the Council of School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has decided to include Harry Potter series in the acdemic syllabus for junior and middle school students, starting from the bach 2017-18, the actress was asked to give her views on ICSE syllabus.
Well everything was fine till she said, "I think having books like 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Harry Potter' as part of the syllabus is a great move because it cultivates imagination and creativity at a young age. I thinks books like Little Women would also encourage respect towards women at a young age. But things took different turn as she said, "Even 'Animal Farm' should be included as it will teach the little ones to love and care for animals." Literature lovers obviously could't take this and wrote on Twitter. Well, some of the tweets are shown below.
