'Haseena Parkar': Shraddha Kapoor shares her experience of working in Apoorva Lakhia's movie

Shraddha Kapoor, who has been known for her girl-next-door image, stunned everyone when she appeared as Dawood Ibrahim's sister in her upcoming movie 'Haseena Parkar'. The movie, which happens to be a biopic of Dawood's sister, has been touted as one of Shraddha's big project and the actress has admitted that it has been a challenging experience for her.

Reportedly, Shraddha has to put on a lot of weight for her role in 'Haseena Parkar'.

Talking about the same, the 'Rock On 2' actress said, "As an actor it has been an interesting and emotionally challenging experience. I had put on seen to nine kilos for the role and now I am in the process of losing that weight."

Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, 'Haseena Parkar' also stars Siddhanth Kapoor in the role of Dawood Ibrahim. Interestingly, this is the first itme Shraddha will be sharing the screen space with her brother and the bro-sis duo are quite excited about it.

The movie is said to hit the theatres on August 18.
