After Sonam Kapoor, is Shraddha Kapoor getting married? Here's what father Shakti had to say
Bollywood has recently witnessed a series of monsoon wedding lately with several B-town actresses entering the nuptial bond including Sonam Kapoor and Neha Dhupia.
Soon, there were reports that Shraddha Kapoor is also planning to get married soon.
In fact, the actress even shared a picture of herself gearing up for the biggest haldi ceremony of the year and it made the gossip mongers go abuzz about Shraddha's wedding reports.
While a lot has been said and written about the Ek Villain actress' wedding, father Shakti Kapoor has finally broken his silence on the rumors.
The veteran actor shunned away Shraddha's wedding reports and said that the lady is busy with her professions commitments at the moment.
He also stated that Shraddha will be marrying the man of her choice as and when she wants to.
"Every father wants his daughter to get married in a good and respected family. I wish that she grows in her personal and professional life, but I think as a parent, you have to give some kind of liberty to your children because now that period is gone when parents used to marry their children (to a person) of their choice. Now, we have to ask them about their choices in terms of everything, including their life partners. She is right now very busy in her career, but whenever she will tell us about her marriage plans, she will marry a man of her own choice and we don’t have any objection with that," Shakti Kapoor was quoted as saying.
Currently, Shraddha Kapoor is busy with Prabhas starrer Saaho. Besides, the lady will also be seen in Saina Nehwal's biopic and Shahid Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
“Now Shraddha will play the character of Saina Nehwal. She has trained with Saina in Hyderabad and now, she is continuing her training. Apart from that, she will also head to Abu Dhabi to shoot for Saaho along with Prabhas. She is also working with Rajkummar Rao in Stree and Batti Gul Meter Chalu… So, I am really happy that she is working in every genre of films at this point in her career," Shakti added.
