According to reports, the R.S. Prasanna directorial has managed to mint a whopping amount of Rs 32 crore in first 10 days of the release.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' which got a rather slow start on the very first day of its release, has witnessed a remarkable growth at the box office in the last 10 days. According to reports, the R.S. Prasanna directorial has managed to mint a whopping amount of Rs 32 crore in first 10 days of the release.

Film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh took to micro-blogging site Twitter to release the 2nd-week collection of the movie.

Being excited Taran wrote, "#ShubhMangalSaavdhan is UNSTOPPABLE... Fri 1.54 cr, Sat 2.95 cr, Sun 3.34 cr. Total: ₹ 31.86 cr. India biz. #SMS."

'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' which happens to be the second collaboration of Ayushmann and Bhumi, is said to be a remake of Tamil film namely 'Kalyana Samayal Saadham'. Interestingly, Bhumi had made her Bollywood debut with Ayushmann's 2015 release 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' which won the National Award.

The story of the Indian comedy-drama revolves around the life of a Delhi based groom Mudit who is suffering from erectile dysfunction. In the flick, the guy has been seen trying several hacks to solve the problem before his wedding with a girl namely Sugandha.

While Ayushman has portrayed the character of Delhi-based Mudit, Bhumi did a proper justice with the role of Sugandha.

Previously the movie has also faced a box office clash with Ajay Devgn's multi-starrer heist drama 'Baadshaho' which has been doing wonder from the very first day of its release.

On the work front, while Ayushman is busy shooting his another forthcoming flick 'Shoot The Piano Player', Bhumi will be next seen in 'Manmarziyaan'.

Helmed by Anurag Kashyap, the movie is stuck in development hell since January 2016.
