Abhishek Bachchan and sister Shweta Bachchan were the latest celebrity guests to appear on Koffee with Karan 6. During the show, the two siblings went on to spill some secrets and make interesting revelations about each other.
Shweta also opened up on daughter Navya Nanda’s Bollywood plans. She admitted that she is not keen that Navya joins Bollywood and also stated her reasons behind this. "I think I was excessive, I think I was unfair. I thought I was selfish. Coming from a family that was involved in movies, the second generation was involved in the movies be it my brother or my sister-in-law, I know the heart breaks and I know it really well," Shweta said.
"I see their faces when things don't work out. I see the kind of hate my brother gets on Instagram. Whether you like him as an actor or you don't or you think he got it easy because he is Amitabh Bachchan's son, whatever it is I'm his sister and I hated it. It gives me sleepless nights. I don't want another member of my family to be in this business, for my personal selfish reasons," added Shweta.
Shweta said that Navya has to be totally driven and passionate about acting if she wants to make a career out of it. "I don't know what Navya's talent is. I feel, unless she's completely driven, passionate and talented, she has no business being here. Just because she's related to some famous people doesn't mean she has what it takes," Shweta said on the show.
Navya Naveli Nanda is already a star on social media. She is the elder daughter of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Nikhil Nanda. Navya's brother Agastya is 18-years-old.
