According to the media reports, A Gentleman is said to outshine its competitors at the box office especially Babumoshai Bandookbaaz as the Sidharth starrer received more number of screens.
Trade analyst Girish Johar told Indian Express, "A Gentleman will have more audience because it has got more screens than Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. It should lead the box office this Friday. By Sunday, A Gentleman is expected to earn somewhere between 15 crore."
Reportedly, despite having a commendable actor like Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz had to settle down with average response from the audience who are calling the movie a misfire by the actor.
Notably, the final figures of the first day collection of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is yet to be revealed. But going by the media reports, it looks like A Gentleman will be the highest earner this week.
