The first song of Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba is finally released, titled ‘Aankh Marey’. The song is the remix version of 90s popular song from the 1996 flick Tere mere Sapne which stars Chandrachur Singh, Arshad Warsi, Priya Gill and Simran Bagga. The new version of the song features Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan shaking leg on the peppy number performing funky foot-steps.
In the three-and-half-minute video, there is a street-party like atmosphere where motor cyclists are showcasing their biking skills by performing stunts.
That’s not all, the song also features cameo dance from the Golmaal gang of Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu where they can be seen performing on Kumar Sanu’s voice. In one of the scenes, Tusshar also leads the dance group in his Golmaal’s style of speaking which is quite funny.

Helmed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba is an official remake of Telugu superhit flick Temper that featured Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal. On December 3, the first trailer of the much-awaited flick was released and received mixed reviews from the audience.
Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Picturez, Simmba features Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan in lead roles and Sonu Sood, Siddharth Jadhav and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.
In an interview with Mid-Day, Shetty revealed the reason for roping Sara for Simmba and said that she is made for masala movies. He said, "When I met Sara for the first time, I realised she is a hardcore commercial heroine. She is made for masala films. Sara approached me saying she wanted to work with me. I thought she’d be perfect for Simmba. She’ll match Ranveer’s craziness because her character in the film is such''.
