Musician Sona Mohapatra isn’t happy with how the whole Twittersphere is revolving, particularly, when it comes to seeing Salman Khan pop up on her timeline. History has it that the musician who is known for her no-nonsense policy isn’t quite a fan of the Bollywood Dabaang after his controversial remarks on rape during Sultan’s promotions where he compared his arduous training to that of a rape victim and more. And her recent tweet is a clear proof that Sona isn’t among the Bhai’s entourage. Seemingly annoyed by the Salman feed that announces the wrap-up of the schedule of Salman and Katrina Kaif starrer period drama Bharat, she asked Twitter to kindly stop showing Salman on her feed.
She wrote, “Dear @twitter I don’t follow this person & would request you to spruce up your algorithm to NOT put his advertised tweets on my timeline.â€Â

Her bold admittal has however not gone down lightly for the Bhai fans who have wasted no time to fire her back. Responding to her tweet one user wrote, "They can't provide a special service to you, I guess.. Even I don't follow many but see their tweets on my feed.." While another called her as being an ‘attention seeker’.

Despite her blatant criticisms, Salman has somewhat never responded to Sona’s fierce comments. During the divisive #MeToo movement, Sona has also been critical of male playback singers like Anu Malik and Kailash Kher of sexual misconduct.
