Sonakshi Sinha reveals why 'Ittefaq' is not a remake

Sonakshi Sinha, who is gearing up for her upcoming movie 'Ittefaq', has claimed that the movie is not a remake instead it is a fresh movie.

According to the media reports, the movie was said to be the remake of Rajesh Khanna's 1969 superhit movie 'Ittefaq' opposite Nanda and Bindu.

Talking about the same, Sonakshi told a leading daily, "I have not seen the old 'Ittefaq'. So for me, I am doing a new film. And I am sure a lot of people from our generation have not seen the original 'Ittefaq' either. The way film is rewritten and adapted to fit in today's scenario and time, makes it a fresh film. I am looking at it as a new film".
