It’s the season of weddings in tinselville. After the much-publicised marriage of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Bollywood is now gearing up for the most-awaited wedding of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja.
Though the Kapoor family is yet to confirm the development, grapevines have been buzzing with the rumours that the two lovebirds will tie the knot this summer.
Speculations were rife that choreographer-director Farah Khan will choregraph the performances at the sangeet ceremony. The Tees Maar Khan director later confirmed the news on a newly launched comedy show.
Interestingly, a popular B-town filmmaker is all set to shake a leg at the sangeet function, if a report in an online portal is to be believed.
According to a report in BollywoodLife, Karan Johar will groove to the beats of the title track of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The hit song which was composed by Himesh Reshammiya, was conceptualised on Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan.
“Rehearsals are in full swing. Karan is also very excited as he is performing on the title track of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. And the fact that he is dancing to the steps of his best friend, Farah is like a cherry on the cake. All of them are having too much fun while preparing for their acts,†a source told BollywoodLife.
The My Name Is Khan director who has judged the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikh Laja, is a good dancer himself. We already know KJo’s love for dancing, so we just can’t wait see to him groove on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Sonam Kapoor’s parents Anil and Sunita are also expected to present a special act at the sangeet function, a report in Mumbai Mirror suggested.
