After lot of speculations over the marriage date of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, the Kapoor family has finally revealed that the two lovebirds will tie the knot on May 8 in Mumbai.
The Kapoor and Ahuja family issued a joint statement which read “The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on May 8 in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives’’.
Wedding preparations for the much-awaited wedding in Bollywood is in full swing in Kapoor clan. Anil Kapoor’s bungalow in Mumbai is being decorated with lights for the special day in Sonam’s life.
Sonam Kapoor has been dating Anand Ahuja since the past few years. The much-in-love couple has remained tight lipped about their relationship.
Grapevines have been buzzing with the rumours of their marriage since last month and every day a new wedding date would pop out in the media.
The Delhi-based fashion entrepreneur accompanied the Delhi-6 actress to last year’s National Film Awards. The Bollywood diva had received a special mention for her strong performance in Ram Madhvani directorial Neerja.
