Starting the pre-wedding week today with ‘sumangali pooja,’ followed by a pre-wedding reception at Raghavendra Mandapam in Kodambakkam, Chennai, the duo’s wedding card has also been released for their fans.

The couple who got engaged in a private family ceremony last year will be saying their ‘I do’ this February 11 in a low-key affair at The Leela Palace, Chennai, according to reports.

Dad, Rajinikanth, who cannot contain his excitement for her daughter’s wedding wasted no time to list down the names of special invitees who will be privileged to attend the wedding. Just a day ago, a picture of Rajinikanth personally inviting founder of Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) Kamal Haasan to his daughter Soundarya’s wedding was making rounds on the internet. Other dignitaries to be invited to the wedding are Rajinikanth, Soundarya Rajinikanth, Vishagan Vanangamudi, Kamal Haasan, MK Stalin, Thirunavukkarasar. Rajinikanth, who is also a close friend of Thol Thirumavalavan had told the media, "Thirunavukarasar has been the main person behind arranging Soundarya's marriage functions. So, I gave the first invitation to him. I will invite a few more people. The political people I am meeting now is only for my daughter's marriage and not for any politically inclined reasons."
Other guests invited by the 2.0Â star are DMK President MK Stalin, Tamil Nadu Congress Chief Thirunavukkarasar, among others.
