Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’ has finally managed to touch the coveted Rs 100 crore club after 15 days of its release. The horror movie is still running successfully at the theatres because of its strong story and positive word of mouth and despite a Hollywood release ‘The Nun’, the flick managed to churned out well at the box office.
Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the news of ‘Stree’ touching Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.

He wrote, ‘’While ₹ 100 cr mark is no longer the yardstick for a film’s success, it ought to be celebrated when mid-sized films like #SKTKS, #Raazi and #Stree
The story of 'Stree' revolves around a cursed woman 'Stree' who comes to Chanderi town in Madhya Pradesh for four festive days to haunt men for her revenge. This year, Vicky along with two of his friends and a book store owner decides to free the town from this evil spirit for good. And, how Shraddha Kapoor helps them with their mission and what happens at the end concludes the story.
Directed by Dinesh Vijan, Stree also features Flora Saini, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz and Atul Shrivastava in significant roles
The movie was released on August 31.
