Street Dancer 3D Song Muqabala out.

New Delhi:

The makers of Street Dancer 3D have unveiled the first song from the movie, a rehashed version of Prabhudeva’s 1994 hit song, Muqabala Muqabala from the film Humse Hai Muqabla. In the song, Prabhudeva is seen performing the hook step of the iconic song and lead actors Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi follow his step. The song has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. It has been sung by Yash Narvekar and Parampara Thakur.

Choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza admits the song was included in the film as a tribute to Prabhu Deva. He says in a Mid-Day interview, "Since Prabhu sir was a part of the film, we wanted a song dedicated to him. Bhushan ji (Kumar, producer) told me that he had the rights to the 'Muqabla' song. So I thought it would be the best way to pay our tribute to the man who has been instrumental in changing the dancing scene in India."

The makers recently unveiled the trailer of Street Dancer 3D and it will surely leave you super-impressed. In the trailer we get to see Varun as Sahej from India and Shraddha Kapoor as Inayat from Pakistan. Both Varun and Shraddha are rivals in a dance battle called 'Ground Zero.' The trailer shows their journey of coming together to win the dance battle.

Street Dancer 3D has Varun and Shraddha reuniting on the big screen after five years. The two last worked together in ABCD 2, which released in 2015.

In an earlier interview, Remo said Varun and Shraddha have impressed him with his dance skills and fans have every reason to be excited about the film. ''The story of Street Dancer is close to my heart. The way Varun, Shraddha, and I are bringing the story alive on the screen, the audience will become a fan of the film. It is an inspirational story and a family entertainer,'' Remo said, speaking to IANS. ''Dance and acting both are performing arts. The more you do it, the more you mature. That is what happened to Varun and Shraddha. I am impressed by Varun’s maturity as a dance performer. Of course, we have collaborated before, and we know how good he is as a dancer. But in our upcoming film, he has really taken it to the next level,'' he added.

The film will be made in 3D. It will hit the screens on January 24.
