Karan Johar and the entire star cast last day teased fans with multiple posters, piquing their excitement to another level.
In the poster shared by Tiger, we can see the actor in an athletic pose with several other glimpses of his running, training, weightlifting with a sack and taking part in a tug of war. On the other hand, Tara looks hot, dressed in a pink bustier and silver shorts.
The movie from its trailers seems much like the first movie but without much onus on romance. Tiger Shroff is seen pulling out high octane stunts with ease.
There is a strong hangover of the previous film in the trailer. But this time there are two girls vying for the attention of one guy. Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria are both in love with Tiger Shroff, and Tiger Shroff is lusting after the Student Of The Year trophy. In between all this, Tiger is expelled from the school, enters into a fight with another fellow student and challenges him to bag the trophy. There are lots of heartbreak, fights and expulsion to deal with.
Tiger shared the new poster on his Twitter and captioned it, ''In it to win it!! Let’s do this!” while Tara wrote, ''Trust the magic of new beginnings.''
Produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions banner, the film will be distributed by Fox Star Studios and is slated to release in almost a month from now, on May 10 this year.
Varun recently spoke about the SOTY 2 in an interview to IANS and said, ''I think Tiger (Shroff), Ananya (Panday) and Tara (Sutaria) are looking superb in the film. Alia, Sid (Sidharth Malhotra) and I am equally proud and happy about it. We never thought that there will be a sequel of our film and that too really soon. People still call us ‘student’ and I don’t think that tag will go away from us and we never know in Student of The Year 3 we might go back to school.''
While the first film of the Student of the Year franchise was all sorts of fun great locations, fashionable students all with a hint of drama and romance, the second part is no different.
Who do you think will take away the coveted Student of The Year trophy this time?
