Suniel Shetty Reacts To Daughter Athiya And Son Ahan ’s Relationship Status (Photo Credit: Instagram)

Love is in air for Bollywood newbies from Kiara –Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria –Adar Jain. Recently all the two rumoured couples along with Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul returned from their New Year’s Vacation and fans cannot stop pointing out similarities in their Instagram posts, stories. Athiya Shetty’s cute phone booth post garned much attention and now even dad Suniel Shetty has broken his silence about his kids and their partners clearing all air.
In an interview with ETimes, Suniel Shetty was quoted as saying, “We love the kids and the kids they are dating. Absolutely love them and I think more than profession, being happy in life is very important today because that is the space I think that is missing. We were all happy, we grew up happy.” Ahan Shetty had made his relationship official with Tania Shroff last year.
Suniel Shetty also mentioned, “I love Ahan’s girlfriend and I love whom Athiya is seeing. I do not have a problem with that, Mana doesn’t have a problem with that and they are happy. The children we are blessed that they are from brilliant families and so humble and fit into the family like gloves.”
According to common friends of KL Rahul and Athiya, they have been dating for a few months now and share a great sense of humour.
With Suniel’s statement we can safely assume that Athiya and Rahul are a thing now.
KL Rahul addressed his relationship status in an interview to with Bombay Times. "Oh, all these things have been written about? I don’t really read the papers, so I don’t know what has been written about me. I have learned to keep my personal life personal and not make it a thing to talk about. I am committed to cricket right now," he said. He was also asked if he was single or not, to which he responded saying, "I don’t really know. When I figure that out, I will give you a call and tell you."
Interestingly, KL Rahul was earlier linked to Alia Bhatt's best friend, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Rahul has also been linked to Niddhi Agerwal, who rubbished the reports and said that he was just a good friend.
On the work front, Athiya was last seen in the film Motichoor Chaknachoor, opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
