Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been mired with controversies every since a memoir An Ordinary Life. And while the controversies doesn't seem to subside anytime soon, the Raees actor has now landed into a legal trouble.
According to the media reports, Sunita Rajwar, whom Nawaz had tagged as his ‘first love’, has sent him a legal notice. Reportedly, Sunit has sued the actor for tarnishing her image in public and has even demanded a compensation of Rs 2 crore.
“I am taking legal action because the damage is already done and it’s irreversible,” Sunita was quoted as saying.
In the legal notice, Sunita has stated that Siddiqui has manipulated her image as mere publicity gimmik. It furter states that the actress has been portrayed in a wrong light as someone “who drove Nawaz to think of committing suicide”.
The notice further denied the reports of Sunita dumping Nawazuddin for not being successful and caled it "a figment of his imagination."
The media reports suggests that Sunita Rajwar has demanded an unconditional apolodgy from Nawazuddin Siddiqui and book's co-author Rituparna Chatterjee and publishers
Talking about the same, Sunita stated that the book has been a 'source of great mental agony', which has affected her personal life and relations.
She added, “The withdrawal of the memoir turned out to be a another gimmick as the book is still in circulation.”
Earlier, Nawazuddin was also slammed by his ex-lover Niharika Singh who alleged that the Kahaani actor has made false claims about their relationship.
We wonder what Nawazuddin Siddiqui has to say about Sunita Rajwar's leagal notice.
