After back and forth copyright violation accusations by both Ujda Chaman and Bala filmmakers, the former movie starring Sunny Singh has been preponed to avoid further clash. Ujda Chaman will now release on November 1, 2019 against the previously November 8 release. Commenting on the same a source close to the developments says, “It was an obvious choice that the makers of Ujda Chaman would change the release date of their venture. Given the fact that Bala and Ujda Chaman are quite similar, it makes no sense to release both films in quick succession. Moving ahead the release date was a logical move.”
Announcing the new release date for ‘Ujda Chaman’, Taran Adarsh also tweeted, #UjdaChaman to release on 1 Nov 2019...’’.

In addition to the copyright accusations, the movies revolving about premature balding embroiled themselves in yet another fight when Bala which is based on a similar theme and was supposed to release on November 15, announced a new release date i.e. November 7, a day before Ujda Chaman release.
Talking about his movie, Abhishek Pathak said that Ayushmann Khurrana's "Bala", should have made some changes to stand out and be original.
"Bala" stars Ayushmann as a young bald man and the film's poster and subsequently even the trailer was similar to "Ujda Chaman", the director said. "There are some similarities that can be seen between 'Bala' and 'Ujda Chaman'. I don't know what's happening. I came with my trailer on October 1 and they came out with it around 10-11 October," Abhishek told PTI, "So this question should be asked to them that how is it similar If they had seen my trailer, they should have done something... at least, change something," he added. The director said not only the idea, even the dialogues and screenplay of "Bala" looks similar to his.
