The film is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who teaches underprivileged kids for free and helps them crack the IIT entrance exam. Released on July 12, the film is giving tough competition to new Bollywood releases like Kangana Ranaut's Judgementall Hai Kya and Diljit Dosanjh's Arjun Patiala.
Talking about the success of Super 30, Hrithik Roshan told Indian Express, ''It feels great that Super 30 did so well. And I have so much gratitude towards the success of the film. There were a lot of people rooting for me – be it my family and friends. And to make them proud is very encouraging and an important thing for me.''
When asked what did he take back from Super 30, the actor said, ''It has brought in a lot of changes in my life. I have been trying to work towards giving a better lifestyle for my staff in the house. I have also started to contribute to the people around me. And it’s only a start and I hope I can do more and better.''
Apart from Hrithik Roshan, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Mrunal Thakur, Aditya Srivastava, Nandish Singh Sandhu and Amit Sadh, among others. Hrithik will next be seen with Tiger Shroff in Siddharth Anand's War. The film, which is produced by Yash Raj Films, is set to hit the screens on October 2.
